    Key takeaways

ICF International (ICFI) trades at an attractive multiple due to concerns that lower government spending (~three quarters of its business) will negatively affect results. However recent contract wins and an expected strong 2H mitigate these concerns. Moreover, a successful acquisition strategy reduced its dependence on government spending and resulted in significant EBITDA growth, high free cash flow and an almost 50% debt reduction.

Seth Wenig/APCEO Nick Woodman holds a GoPro camera in his mouth as he celebrates his GoPro's IPO. There were plenty of winners and losers this week, as the leading premium coffeehouse chain expanded its carbonated beverage offerings, and a disruptive video-streaming service got disrupted itself. Here's a rundown of the week's best and worst. GoPro (GPRO) -- Winner The initial public offering market got some fresh meat on Thursday when GoPro went public. The company behind the popular namesake cameras that extreme sports enthusiast like to wear was a hit. It priced at $24 a share -- at the high end of its initial range -- and that still wasn't enough. The stock opened at $28.65, closing out its first day of trading with a 31 percent gain. GoPro's growth has been stellar. Sales soared 87 percent last year to nearly hit $1 billion. However, there was a surprising decline in revenue during this year's first quarter. New GoPro investors are assuming that the most recent quarter's dip was a fluke. If it isn't a fluke, they can record their stumble in glorious high-def. Aereo -- Loser Sometimes it's the disruptor that gets disrupted. Aereo, the start-up service that offers local TV channels as a streaming platform, was pummeled by the U.S. Supreme Court. In a 6-3 decision, the court ruled that Aereo violated the copyrights of major TV networks by streaming their content without paying transmission fees. The move isn't the end for Aereo, but its prognosis has clearly deteriorated. Aereo thought that incorporating tiny remote antennas that subscribers can access online was similar enough to actual HD antenna ownership by individuals that its business model would be found to be legal. That didn't pan out, and consumers are unlikely to get a break this way from their ever-increasing cable and satellite TV bills. 2. Short-sellers ruin GoPro's stock price after four-day rally
I wish we had GoPro'd that insane run that GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO  ) made in its first days as a publicly traded company -- because it's over. Pessimistic short-sellers who worship the religion of Schadenfreude made sure to fix what they saw as over-excitement about the popular camcorder company, so they sold stocks and nailed the price, sending it down 14% Wednesday.

Little has been quiet about GoPro Inc.'s(GPRO) stock-market debut. Until now.

The camera maker’s options became eligible for trading on Monday, and so far the day has passed with little fanfare. Some 24,000 options contracts traded Monday as of 3:20 p.m. Eastern Time , according to Andrew Wilkinson, chief market analyst at Interactive Brokers. That leaves GoPro’s activity below the top 50 companies with the most actively traded options contracts, he said.

Look out Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISRG), and step aside BioTelemetry Inc. (NASDAQ:BEAT). There's a new cardiac name in town, and its name is Stereotaxis Inc. (NASDAQ:STXS). This small company's stock is soaring today on the heels of encouraging news, though the prompt for the stock's strength has been brewing for quite some time. This nudge for STXS, however, may well mean it has a lot more potential than ISRG or BEAT do for the foreseeable future.

Advisors' Opinion:

Short interest in Proto Labs Inc. (NYSE: PRLB) increased by 6.6% to 3.03 million shares, or 14.6% of the company’s float. Shares were down about 8.5% in the two-week period and closed Thursday at $71.93, up about 84% year to date. The stock’s 52-week range is $35.86 to $89.97.

Another potential earnings short-squeeze trade is Proto Labs (PRLB), which produces CNC machined and injection molded plastic parts and is set to release its numbers on Thursday before the market open. Wall Street analysts, on average, expect Proto Labs to report revenue of $40.25 million on earnings of 35 cents per share.

Just recently, Piper Jaffray said its survey indicates demand tracked ahead of plan for the 3D printing/rapid prototyping market during the June quarter. With that in mind, piper expects impressive second-quarter results from names like Proto Labs.

The current short interest as a percentage of the float for Proto Labs is very high at 16%. That means that out of the 18.19 million shares in the tradable float, 7.41 million shares are sold short by the bears. The bears have also been increasing their bets from the last reporting period by 16.8%, or by about 438,000 shares. If the bears are caught pressing their bets into a strong quarter, then shares of PRLB could explode higher post-earnings as the shorts rush to cover some of their bets.

From a technical perspective, PRLB is currently trending above both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, which is bullish. This stock has been uptrending strong for the last six months, with shares soaring higher from its low of $39.64 to its recent high of $67.40 a share. During that move, shares of PRLB have been making mostly higher lows and higher highs, which is bullish technical price action. That move has now pushed shares of PRLB within range of triggering a major breakout trade post-earnings.

If you're in the bull camp on PRLB, then I would wait until after its report and look for long-biased trades if this stock manages to break out above its all-time high at $67.40 a share (or its intraday high on Wednesday if greater) with high volume. Look for volume on that move that hits near or above its three-month average action of 427,395 shares. If that breakout triggers, t
